Summary
A Vacancy at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
This important role will lead the education and training agenda within the Pharmacy department at LNW. The postholder will need to have proven experience of this specialty within Pharmacy and managing a team of staff.
The role requires someone who is comfortable working in different settings across the Trust and region, and engaging with a variety of different stakeholders.
• To lead the Education, Training and Workforce development (ETWD) agenda for the Pharmacy department at LNWUH NHS Trust
• To lead and ensure the delivery of training programmes for pre-registration trainee pharmacy technicians and trainee pharmacists within the department, and for those receiving a part of this training at the Trust
• To lead on the workforce development and transformation workstreams within the Pharmacy department and the North West London Integrated Care System.
• To build relationships with local academic providers to enable mutually beneficial relationships for the training of Pharmacy undergraduates and the development of Pharmacy staff with regards to the training and development of others
• To lead on and manage the development of all staff within Pharmacy through maximising uptake of available training and supporting staff in all roles to access training and achieve their developmental goals
• To manage the ETWD team within Pharmacy to ensure that all workstreams are fully achieved and the correct support structure is in place for staff in training roles
• To be an active member of the senior leadership team (SLT) within the Pharmacy department
