Summary

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced RIBA Qualified Architect to join our hardworking and friendly Stafford based team. You would be responsible for the design and delivery of mainly educational projects in the Staffordshire area working on the project from end to end, you will play a critical role in the projects successful delivery. As the Architect you will be expected to lead a multi-disciplined design team and provide the required design documentation to enable projects to be tendered and contract managed through to completion.

Entrusts design team provides an efficient, responsive, and high-quality property service through effective co-ordination, management and provision of consultancy services related to construction projects and property risk management. You will play a key role in this team, engaging with stakeholders both internally and externally.

• Designing and managing architectural design projects from inception to completion
• Be responsible for commissioning, programming and client liaison throughout the project process and reporting progress through your line manager..
• Assisting other architectural staff as required and assist with co-ordination of the contributions of all members of the Multi-disciplinary Design Teams
• Assisting the promotion and development of the highest quality of design and constructional standards of building with particular emphasis on value for money
• Contributing to the company overall through personal performance, supervision, proactive leadership where required
• Assisting the implementation of the company's Health & Safety Policy Statements including risk assessment procedures

What we're looking for:

• Enthusiastic UK Registered Architect with experience of working in a senior role including team management responsibilities
• Possess a sound grasp of building design and construction and construction cost planning
• Posses a sound grasp of building contract law with experience in JCT and NEC forms of building contract.
• Awareness of new innovative procurement and construction techniques (especially in connection with Net Zero Carbon initiatives), construction contracts, current legislation, statutory and regulatory requirements relating to property
• Good communication written and verbal, presentation, organisational skills
• Possess a high skill level of AutoCAD and Revit software along with associated 3D visualisation rendering packages and NBS experience.
• Experience in Education design, public buildings, Healthcare and Blue Light sectors is desirable
• A brief e-portfolio of recent work demonstrating compliance with the above criteria.
