Summary

If you enjoy working outside and would like to make a positive contribution to the collection of both waste and recycling in the Borough, this could be the job for you!

We are looking for a number of people to join our team based at Freighter House. Working in small crews throughout the Borough of Chelmsford, you could be collecting either residual waste, garden waste, food waste or dry recyclable materials from domestic properties. These are physically demanding roles which involve repetitive manual handling.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an awareness of safe working practices, be team players and customer focused.

Relevant experience and a good knowledge of Chelmsford and its surrounding areas is desirable.

The successful applicant will be required to work 37 hours over a 4-day week, Tuesday - Friday.
