Summary
FETTLER
We currently have an opportunity for a fettler to join a busy Marine Engineering Company working with yellow metals and aluminium, no experience necessary as full training will be given.
This is a full time position Mon – Fri with no shift work, after training overtime available (as required).
Candidates need to be flexible and committed to work, with a high degree of drive and enthusiasm, able to work well in a team environment while being capable of working to tight deadlines and production targets. You must have the ability to grasp information, new skills and responsibilities quickly, reliably and effectively.
JOB ROLE
Using hand held angle grinders, your main duties will include completing a wide range of fettling/polishing tasks based in a traditional machine shop; primarily working with castings, brass stock and profiles/fabrications produced from our own foundry.
Due to rural location own reliable transport is essential.
