Summary

Disrepair/Damp Surveyor

Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Disrepair/Damp Surveyor to join our team. As a Disrepair/Damp Surveyor, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing building defects, particularly those related to disrepair and dampness. You will play a critical role in identifying and resolving issues to ensure the safety and comfort of our customers and clients.

In this role, you will conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify any disrepair or dampness issues. You will use specialized tools and techniques to measure moisture levels, inspect structural integrity, and assess environmental conditions. Additionally, you will compile detailed reports outlining your findings and recommendations for remediation.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive inspections of properties to identify disrepair and dampness issues
Utilize specialized tools and techniques to measure moisture levels and assess structural integrity
Identify potential causes of disrepair and dampness, such as plumbing leaks or inadequate ventilation
Evaluate environmental conditions, such as humidity and airflow, to determine their impact on building integrity
Compile detailed reports outlining inspection findings, including photographs and measurements
Collaborate with clients to develop appropriate remediation plans and timelines
Monitor the progress of remediation efforts, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in building inspection and assessment, preferably in disrepair and dampness
In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in the use of standard inspection tools and equipment
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various locations as required

Pay Per Rate: £239.35
