Summary

We are looking for a part-time Office Assistant to join our small team. We are a chimney and fireplace company based in Halifax and this would be a behind the scenes position that would ideally suit someone with good organizational and customer service skills.
Responsibilities include: Answering phones and handling customer queries, answering email enquiries, scheduling appointments, diary management for engineers, managing office supplies, processing online orders, social media management, typing up estimates, updating databases, filing etc.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and organizational skills, and attention to detail. Be collaborative with a proactive attitude and the ability to quickly problem-solve complicated tasks. The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Be able to demonstrate good PC skills.
Hours: Minimum 12 hours per week, very flexible with opportunity for overtime during busy periods
Schedule: Part time, flexible Monday – Friday
Hourly rate: Living wage for appropriate age bracket
Location: In person in Halifax
Start date: ASAP
