Summary
An exciting opportunity to join our outstanding Pre-school
Post : Level 3 Early Years Room Leader
Qualifications : Level 3 in Children's Care & Learning or equivalent and previous experience preferred.
Start: September 2024
Hours : “Must be able to commit to a minimum of 22 hours per week, to cover
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with 1 hour staff meeting on Monday’s (4 -5 pm)
Rate of pay: Dependent on Qualification and Experience.
PK pre-school is a charity and run by a voluntary management committee. It is committed to offering excellent childcare provision. Our dedicated staff team and management committee offer a stimulating and caring environment for children aged 2-5 years old.
Our ethos is simple, we want to support children to flourish through exploration and play. We encourage our children to develop their independence and problem-solving skills in a nurturing and compassionate environment. In 2022 we received our third consecutive ‘outstanding’ rating from Ofsted.
Job Description
Our ideal candidate is someone who is calm, enthusiastic, shows initiative, is happy and caring, motivated and passionate about early years education and can work well as part of a team.
Staff are required to attend regular training, staff meetings and to continually develop their professionalism. Also, they need to complete all documentation for their key children on a regular basis, in order to track child progress/development.
All staff are DBS checked.
