TeacherActive is excited to collaborate with a reputable secondary educational institution located in Chelmsford. We are seeking a dedicated Art Teacher for a long-term cover position, providing consistent and inspiring art lessons.
Our school is committed to providing students with a comprehensive education, emphasizing the importance of art in fostering creativity, self-expression, and cultural appreciation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver dynamic art lessons that nurture creativity, imagination, and technical skills across various art forms.
• Cultivate a supportive learning environment that encourages experimentation, exploration, and a lifelong appreciation for art.
• Engage students in diverse art activities, fostering self-expression and confidence.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development in art.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the art department.
• Actively participate in art-related extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications:
• A relevant degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification as an Art teacher
• Demonstrated experience as an Art Teacher at the secondary school level.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for art education.
