NEW DIAGNOSTIC TECHNICIAN ROLE
Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: 37k basic + 45k ote + company benefits
YOLO Recruitment need an experienced vehicle technician, for our clients dealership, Essex based. You will need to have an aptitude for diagnosis, a passion to learn and a drive to work our clients brand products as part of a successful aftersales team. You will need an NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology through IMI or City & Guilds Level 3 as a minimum.
Duties of the Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Car Mechanic / Car Technician :
• Diagnose complex symptoms across the whole range of vehicle systems, as well as routine service & repairs.
• Ensure quality and a first time fix to delight our customers every time.
• Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues & sell-up opportunities.
• Communicate with workshop supervision regarding work progress.
• Develop your skills & knowledge via regular training including EV.
• Assist and coach your colleagues with technical assistance.
• Maintain a clean & safe work bay.
• Complete MOTs in line with DVSA standards- if applicable
Hours: Monday to Friday and Saturday on a rota, working 42 hours per week.
