What you’ll be doing

As a Community Hub Catering Assistant you will be working as part of the food hub, assisting the Catering Manager at the café
based in the Zion Centre where you will be preparing and serving well-priced meals, snacks, and drinks to be sold in the café and
community shop.

You will be contributing towards providing a supportive and inclusive space for all to socialise together. The post will also
include catering for meetings and events across the Big Life Centres.

* You will have an interest in your community, the environment and reducing food waste.
* You will support the Community Hub Catering Manager in creating nutritious, low-cost meals.
* You will assist in the day-to-day running of the café and community shop.
* You will provide a warm, welcoming environment which is trauma informed.
* You will maintain the high standard of food served.
* You will serve customers and use the till system.
* You will be positive, resilient, flexible
