Summary
Contract position
Logistics People are looking for Class 1 Drivers working on a Full time Equivalent (FTE) basis at our CML Telford depot.
***Must be able to do occasional nights out***
Location: Telford
Working Hours: 5 On 3 Off // 4 On 4 Off Shifts Available
Pay Rate:
- 5 On 3 Off £16.52 P/hr
- 4 On 4 Off £16.52 P/hr
Extra Day Rate:
- Extra Day Rate Mon – Fri £188.49 per shift
- Extra Day Rate Sat £226.60 per shift
- Extra Day Rate Sun £257.50 per shift
- Start times available between 07:00 – 13:59 & 21:00 – 23:59 – Shift premium of £10 per shift
- Start times available between 14:00 – 20:59 – Shift premium of £15 per shift
The role consists of completing deliveries and collections.
***Driving Assessment Required***
About You:
- You should hold a HGV 1/C+E Licence for a minimum 2 years
- No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
- Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
- Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills
