Summary
Opportunities available to join our network of freelance Inventory Clerks for work throughout London, particularly in North, North West and West London.
You will act as a representative of the property agent - travel to attend various properties, assess and dictate a detailed visual and written record of their condition and cleanliness, evidenced with clear photographs, to create accurate inventory reports and collect/handover.
No two days are the same in the busy world of London rentals! The work requires standing, moving and travel throughout the day to get to and from property and agency locations, so travel is an unavoidable part of the job and physical fitness is important. Weekend work is often required as this is when people move house!
We're an exceptionally busy company looking for motivated, energetic, friendly and can-do inventory clerks to join our network.
Established in 2013, Pro Property is a reputable and preferred supplier for many of London's major estate agency brands including KFH, Dexters, Benham & Reeves, LiFE Residential and Foxtons. We’re a friendly, professional and diverse team ranging from student part-timers, to dedicated hard-core Clerks.
Training:
Ideally we are seeking experienced Inventory Clerks, however happy to invest time in training for motivated and enthusiastic individuals wanting to start a self-employed sub-contractor business. Both in-office theory (currently via Zoom) and practical in-property training with Senior Inventory Clerks. We're Ideally looking for people with Inventory experience, Retail or Property Management background.
OTE between £10k - £40,000 PA pending your availability as a self-employed sub-contractor. Average fee is £45, with 2-4 inspections per day average. Experienced Clerks can undertake up to 6+ pending size and location. Those who wish to contract intensively with PPL on an open schedule basis may earn £2,500 - £3,000+pm in the peak season.

- Laptop or home computer
- Thorough and consistent attention to detail, yet able to work quickly
- Punctuality!!
- Open and confident communicator
- Be open to flexible and weekend hours – Thursday - Monday are the busiest days of the week, and also end and start of the month days
- Be available for the busy Summer lettings market throughout July, August, September
- Use of public transport advised due to parking restrictions, however many Clerks prefer to use a bike or other to travel in between jobs.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
