Personal Assistant
£12 per hour
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a young gentleman based in Dumfries. The support will be to cover an existing member of staff’s sickness leave which will be a minimum of 6 weeks at around 6 hours per week to facilitate tea time visits. As well as Sickness and holiday cover over the longer term.
Regular shift patterns
Monday 5-7pm
Tuesday 12 noon - 2pm
Wednesday 5-7pm
1st Sunday of the month 5-7pm
The post will also require a level of flexibility to cover a further 1 members of staff’s annual leave/sickness leave in addition to the regular hours.
The support required will include daily tasks e.g. changing the bed and evening meal preparations, general housework, support with shopping.
Driving licence preferred but not essential.
Personal Specifications
· Experience in Adult Social Care an advantage.
· Flexible as this is to cover sickness and holidays.
· Trustworthy and reliable
· Friendly and flexible
· Understanding and caring
· Can work on your own initiative.
