Summary

As a Helpdesk Operative at Sodexo in Royal Stoke University Hospital - Newcastle-under-Lyme, you will be the first point of contact, receiving and accurately logging all technical facilities management service requests. With an eye for detail, you will assign the tasks to the relevant Sodexo facilities management teams to complete. The role demands excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a challenging environment. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:

  • Answer direct phone calls and E-mails
  • Accurately log all service requests
  • Assign service requests
  • Prepare and distribute reports
  • Provide general administrative support to the team

What you bring:

  • Computer literacy – MS office packages
  • Excellent team ethos and superb communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk environment is advantageous, but a can-do attitude and complete customer focus will tick the box

Package Description

Royal Stoke University Hospital is recruiting for a Helpdesk Operative. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to supporting both our staff and patients, offering assistance, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Hours: 26.25 per week
  • Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off off: 3pm-9pm
  • Rate of pay:£12.75 per hour
