Greenfield’s Kennel’s is a family run business, who are well established within the local community & beyond. The business was built by animal lovers & enthusiasts where they strive to create an environment that is not only clean & warm, but somewhere pets can feel safe & loved. Both Mark & Jo who run the business are keen animal lovers & have both spent their working lives with dogs, cats, horses & other animals.
Looking for an animal loving apprentice to join our team where you will have hands on experience of caring for the animals whilst also carrying out regular duties such as cleaning the kennels, feeding and watering, exercising/walking the dogs.
The successful candidate will already have some animal care experience and be confident at handling dogs. You should also be good at working with other people and interacting with customers.
5 days a week at you must be able to work weekends, bank holidays and during school holidays.
Training
All training provided by the employer at the employers premises, supported by Haddon Training.
Qualifications required
GCSE Level 4/ Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.
Contact Haddon Training to discuss if not yet achieved - Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills Maths and English

The prospect of moving into full time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
