JOB LOCATION: Corran Esplanade, Oban PA34 5PZ

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our establishment. Your attention to detail and hospitality skills will contribute to creating a pleasant and welcoming environment for our guests.

HOUSEKEEPER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform cleaning duties to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures, mirrors, shower, and toilet, ensuring they meet hotel standards for cleanliness and presentation.
Change bed linens, towels, and other guest room supplies, ensuring a sufficient and fresh supply is available for incoming guests.
Perform thorough inspections to ensure that rooms meet established cleanliness standards before guest arrival.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or required repairs in guest rooms to the maintenance department and hotel manager.
Replenish guest room amenities, toiletries, and cleaning supplies as needed.
Follow all safety and health regulations to provide a safe and hygienic environment for guests and fellow staff members.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

A real passion for housekeeping and a fine eye for detail.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, cleaning equipment, and chemicals used in housekeeping.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong organisational and clear communication skills.
An impeccable presentation.
An outstanding can-do attitude and the desire to work as a member of a team.
