The Best Connection Group Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Tig welder fabricator for one of our established clients in the Aston area. This role can lead to a permanent position for the successful candidate.
Duties of this role include: Welding 1.5mm to 6mm Aluminum bars to scaffolding poles You will need to be experienced in TIG Weidling; Aluminum would be an advantage. Must be competent with, measuring/marking out, using various hand tools and have a logical approach to the job. Fabrication knowledge would be an added bonus. The ideal candidate needs: Ideally 2 years of TIG welding experience Ability to read and understand drawings. A reliable and excellent timekeeper Excellent attitude to work. Pay rate: £13.75 per hour Hours of work: 07:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday You will be required to perform a weld test on pipe and plate.
* Experience in using a lathe and or a Bridgeport turret mill would be an advantage but not essential*
