Summary
Join us as at First Bus as an Engineering Manager, and we'll take your engineering skills to the next level.
Purpose of this role:
It's the Engineering Manager's overall responsibility for maximising productivity and minimising lost mileage, whilst focusing on standards and health & safety practices.
You'll coach, develop and inspire everyone in your team to perform at their best every day. You'll guide by example. You'll always put safety first and you'll help to make FirstBus a great place to work.
Our energetic team at First Bus looks after over 5000 vehicles nationwide, including the latest innovations in public transport, hydrogen, electric and hybrid bus's - want to get your hands on one?
Hours: 39hrs p/w (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Competitive
We'd love to hear from if you have:
-A minimum Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds level 1 & 2).
-Must be able to obtain a PCV Licence and Forklift Truck licence if required
-Knowledge of all relevant legislations concerning HS&E, maintenance of vehicles, Road Safety etc.
-Necessary IT and Computer skills such as SAP, MS Office etc.
-Working experience of DVSA testing of PCV and relevant health & safety regulations
-Proven leadership skills are essential to provide strategic and day to day direction to your team.
