Summary

A highly interesting opportunity to join a company that have been trading over 40 years, providing you with stability, technically challenging work, in a team orientated environment. Working for a privately owned SME that creates bespoke engineering solutions for the vehicle market, you’ll have variation in your role, and a compressed working week (08:00 – 17:15 Mon – Thu and 08:00 – 13:00 Fri), 25 days plus BH for annual leave increasing with service, Life insurance, plus a variety of other benefits available on request.

We want to hear from candidates who have planning experience, ideally from a manufacturing or engineering background.

Day to day you will be analysing drawings and BOMs, creating production part numbers and manufacturing BOMS, raising production orders, minimising schedule clashes, liaising with purchasing for expediting and quotations, updating price requests and making material and labour estimations for bids.

To be able to do the job, you’ll need to have or be able to gain SC security clearance, and have great communication skills, highly developed computer software skills (ideally having worked with MRP systems previously) and the ability to work closely with a small team of 5 including you that is responsible for the planning processes of the company.

If you are a motivated and skilled Production Planner who wants to join a technically diverse company then we’d love to hear from you.
