Summary

Flood Risk & Drainage Engineer up to Associate Level



Location: Sheffield



Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 (Depending On Experience)



Join an employee-owned, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy comprising over 70 professionals, seeking an experienced Flood Risk Engineer to join their Sheffield office, which boasts a team of 17 dedicated individuals.



You will be part of the infrastructure design team, collaborating closely with the Director. The ideal candidate will be client-focused and eager to take on the challenge of a dynamic workload. With projects ranging from private clients to large housebuilders, this role offers a diverse and stimulating environment.



Responsibilities include developing and securing new work, both within the existing business and from external clients.

Skills Requirements for Role:

- Flood risk management experience, including the use of WinDES/Micro Drainage software and CAD.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects.
- Preparation and design of Drainage Strategies for both outline and detailed planning applications.
- Experience in project management and securing new work.
- Client-facing skills, including proposal writing and report reviewing/approval.
- Hydraulic modelling experience is advantageous.
- Surface water and foul drainage design experience is beneficial.
