Summary
Hrgo are looking for a Logistics Night Shift Coordinator , for a busy freight company in Dover. Ideally candidates will have some logistics experience and the successful candidate will plan and manage time-critical logistics solutions throughout Europe and worldwide, operating with strict time constraints and ensuring all schedules and deadlines are met.
Duties entail, monitoring live, urgent transport movements; keeping clients informed of shipment progress; and maintaining a bespoke transport management system, in line with company procedures. You must be organised, reliable and be able to work in a busy environment.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with Team Leader to ensure best practice.
Have a good understanding of European driving regulations and bans, and the impact they may have on transport planning.
Escalate delays in transport and identified problems to the Team Leader, provide options for a resolution to allow effective communication with the client.
Work closely with our supplier management team to highlight any gaps in carrier coverage & maintain excellent relationships with our carriers.
Ensure carrier non-conformances are recorded and escalated as per the agreed quality process.
Salary is £28000 DOE, plus benefits .
Hours are 12-hour shifts , working on a 4 on 4 off basis , 7.00 pm - 7.00am.
