Falkirk Council is inviting applications from talented and enthusiastic solicitors to join our legal services team on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate for the post will, primarily, provide legal advice and assistance on contract and procurement law matters. They will also be expected to provide legal advice and support in relation to freedom of information, data protection, and employment law.

The post holder will play a key role in achieving the Council’s vision of promoting stronger communities where inequalities are reduced, and lives are improved.

The post offers excellent opportunities to combine a fulfilling and challenging role within a supportive team environment whilst gaining or expanding your experience of local government.

You are required to have a degree (LLB) and postgraduate diploma (DipLP), or equivalent. You will also be required to be entitled to practise law in Scotland.
