Full Time – from 2 September 2024 until 31 August 2025
We are looking for an enthusiastic junior doctor to join our dynamic team as a Trust Grade doctor in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine at Newham University Hospital for a period of 12 months in September 2024. This is an innovative, full-time post designed for doctors who are at ST3+/senior SHO/registrar level as a developmental opportunity prior to taking up a higher specialty physician training post. It is designed for doctors who will have completed internal medicine training (IMT) (or its equivalent). The post holder would be given the same training and on-call opportunities as the other Specialist Registrars (SpRs) on the North Central and East London (NCEL) gastroenterology rotation program, who are working in this hospital.
The successful applicant will contribute to the acute General Medical service at Newham University Hospital (NUH). This involves full commitment to the general medical on call rota on a 1:6 frequency with prospective cover (ST3+ level). They will participate in the acute management of gastroenterology and hepatology inpatients
