We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Newham Hospital to rotate within our inpatient teams and develop your clinical and leadership skills

To provide high quality occupational therapy interventions to a wide variety of patients including the advanced assessment and treatment of patients, provision of individual and group education and treatment, provision of assistive devices (orthotics) and equipment, minor structural home adaptations and provision of complex disability management and advocacy services.

To sit within the Band 6 rotational Occupational Therapy scheme working across the Newham Hospital site which will require working in a range of ward settings and departments including Accident and Emergency, Acute Assessment Unit, Cardiac, Respiratory, Amputee/Surgical, Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU), and Health Care of the Elderly.

There is opportunity to experience other services within the Newham collective, which link with our partner services includingAdult Social Care, Hand therapy, Acute and Community Mental Health teams, Extended Primary Care Team (EPCT) and Enabled Living.
