Band 7 Team Leader – Access and Engagement Team

To be based in Coventry and Warwickshire

1.0 x WTE, Full time – permanent vacancy

Rise Access and Engagement team

This group of clinicians is the first contact for families with our service that provides an initial assessment of a Child or Young person’s needs.

Your role will be to manage and lead this busy team whilst it continues to evolve and develop.

You will provide line management supervision and monitor the performance of the team and outcomes for young people.

There will also be opportunity to support trainees within the team to develop their confidence and skill set.

You will support the development and delivery of services, which are responsive to needs and circumstances, work collaboratively with other Trust services and external partners (such as social care, the acute sector and third sector organisations) to support the delivery of locally and nationally prescribed outcomes,

You will contribute to the development & implementation of responses to relevant national and local policies, programmes and initiatives, work collaboratively with key external stakeholders, conducting themselves in accordance with CWPT organisational principles and deputise for the Service Manager at key meetings and partnership meetings

You will also complete complex mental health assessments identifying service users needs and referring them onto appropriate agencies or interventions as needed
• Responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the identified team, including patient, team activity, performance, quality and staffing matters.
• To contribute to the delivery of the transformational change programme for RISE , particularly through the development of a more integrated, multi-professional workforce;
• To support the delivery of child & family focused services, against agreed performance and quality targets and within budget, whilst delivering agreed cost improvements.
• Management of staff;
• Contribute to effective partnership working with key external services, such as social care, the acute sector and key third sector organisations, to enable the delivery of shared outcomes;
