Ballers Football Coaches (Summer)

Ballers Academy has a growing team of passionate specialists. We pride ourselves on providing a reliable coaching service for parents during school holiday periods and weekly sessions. At Ballers Academy we work hard to increase the standard and professionalism of Football Coaching, we employ enthusiastic and committed individuals, training them to our standards and constantly strive to create new, exciting programs and innovative ways to keep children interested in football. .
The Position
We have an exciting opportunity for a Football Coach to join our growing team. We are seeking candidates with 2 years football coaching experience. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young people and be a great team player, while maintaining a reliable and professional image throughout.
This is an inspiring and enjoyable post for confident, knowledgeable, and versatile individuals with the ability to engage young people. You must work well in a team environment, be able to deliver and adapt the sessions by prioritising participant enjoyment and developing participant skills.
There may be an opportunity for regular weekend work for the right candidates.
Temporary contract - w/c 22nd July - w/e 1st September 2024 (to work during the Summer holidays)
Applicants must have availability to work a minimum 19 days during the summer holidays.
Applicants that do not have a level 2 sports coaching or equivalent dance qualification will be offered a level 2 sports qualification (subject to terms and conditions - this is a required mandatory qualification)
Responsibilities:
Deliver a variety of sessions as part of our programme
Provide a fun and exciting learning experience
Follow our manual, policies, and procedures
Be versatile and participate and assist other sessions during the week
Be reliable and flexible
Demonstrate professionalism and build relationships with parents and children
Keep settings clean and tidy
Follow all health and safety requirements
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
1 year teaching/coaching experience
Minimum Level 2 Football coaching qualification
Experience creating and following lesson plan
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Experience working with a variety of ages
First Aid and Child Protection Training – Desirable (qualifications can be provided - T & C's apply)
*Clarification: A Btec level 3 qualification is not classed as an industry standard qualification for employment.
