Owen Payne are recruiting for Tube Laser Operator to join a fantastic manufacturing company within the Willenhall area.
This is a PERMANENT night position.
Requirements:
• Must have previous laser machine operating experience.
• Good communication skills
• Counterbalance Forklift License would be an essential
Duties:
• Operate overhead gantry cranes via radio remote/pendant control to load material for Laser.
• Process lengths of steel precisely using the Laser, as per instructions.
• Store processed material safely in designated areas, to ensure product is accessible in line with company working practices.
• Drive mobile plant such as forklift trucks, side-tracker, etc. and road-based vehicles for loading and transportation purposes, as required.
• Goods Inwards – Unload material and prepare warehouse for future loads.
• Complete daily pre-shift check sheets.
• Report any Laser/plant defects promptly and accurately to the Tube Laser Supervisor.
• Undertake stock checks as required.
• Maintain a consistent approach by carrying out regular housekeeping of your designated working area throughout each shift.
Working hours:
• Sunday - Thursday
• 22:00-06:00am
