Summary


This advert is for a Band 3 Admin Team Lead based at Pendle Community Hospital.

This role is part of the wider IMPReS service that covers many sites across East Lancashire. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to provide high quality admin support to the clinical team .

This is a fundamental role within the MSK service and in order to be able to fulfil the demands of the role you must show excellent customer service skills and be a team player, be able too understand and comply with detailed procedures/instructions and possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You must be able to work under your own initiative, have good time management skills, be flexible in your approach and be able to demonstrate the ability to multi task. It is essential that you are an experienced and have knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including word, outlook and excel spreadsheets. EMIS user.

Responsible for the supervision/monitoring of sickness absence, training, performance and development of reception/admin staff including the allocation of work, ensuring deadlines are met, checking quality of work and dealing with queries.

Responsible for the day to day supervision of administration team members in line with departmental and trust guidelines, policies and procedures.

Provide a full and efficient reception, administrative and information processing service reporting to the Administration Manager.

To ensure the effective and efficient running of all business administration support systems, including the electronic booking system and clinical diaries.

To liaise/report to the Administration Manager, participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of administrative systems to provide a patient focused service.
