About the role:

This role is based at Accrington working in a multi agency team at Lancashire House. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. As a MARRAC Team Leader you will:

  • Ensure the effective delivery of the MARRAC process, holding daily discussions with partners to contribute & support the initial assessment process
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of services by allocating & monitoring work across the team
  • Provide any immediate safety & support needs to the victim & their family
  • Work alongside the police safeguarding teams to ensure the effective delivery of Operation Provide
  • Chair MARRAC meetings, facilitating the sharing of sensitive information securely ensuring all partners take part in joint safeguarding
  • Complete case management audits & reports to case records are accurate & in line with standards
  • Be responsible for safeguarding quality assurance & compliance with policy, providing guidance as required
  • Complete line management duties for your team including recruitment, training completion, performance management, support & guidance.

You will need:

  • Experience managing a team delivering front line support to victims
  • A comprehensive understanding of domestic abuse & it's impact, hold an IDVA accreditation
  • Knowledge of risk assessment & safety planning & Safeguarding issues
  • Theoretical, practical & procedural knowledge of civil & criminal justice remedies for victims
  • Ability to build & mainitain partnerships & pathways to improve service delivery
  • Good orgnisational skills, able to prioritise effectively
  • Strong crisis management skills, able to deal with difficult situations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation & advisory skills, both written and verbal with the confidence to challenge
  • IT skills, able to sue Microsoft Office & Case Management systems
