Summary
F & F Cakes Ltd (T/A Pantry) is currently seeking for a passionate and dedicated Baker to join our team. We are the most renowned cakes shop in the region and famous for a variety of traditional and modern cakes for different occasions. From mouth-watering cakes to an assortment of fusion desserts and continental pastries, we have been serving the community more many years.
Job Responsibility
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Complying with the food hygiene regulations at all times;
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and the company policies;
• Producing baked goods such as bread, cakes, and pastries for the clients;
• Preparing and baking dough, pastry, cake mixtures and making and finishing flour confectionary products by hand;
• Weighing ingredients according to recipe;
• Mixing ingredients using hand or machine to obtain the required consistency;
• Rolling and cutting pastry, stretching, kneading and moulding dough to form bread, rolls and buns;
• Filling and glazing pastry and, mixing ingredients for cakes;
• Baking bread, pastry and cakes in accordance with the customer’s specific orders;
• Decorating cakes, spreading icing, fillings and toppings on bakery products;
• Working as a part of team as well as independently to achieve the company goal;
• Providing support and training to Baker’s Assistant as and when necessary.
In addition to the responsibilities referred to above, you must have excellent communication skills and a great sense of innovation and leadership quality. You need to be flexible, self-motivated, organised and time sincere. Three years of relevant experiences in a similar role would be an advantage.
