Summary
Mizaans of Scotter Limited, a renowned culinary establishment located in Scotter, North Lincolnshire, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Head Chef. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our culinary offerings and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and create innovative dishes to delight our customers.
- Inspect foodstuffs from suppliers to ensure top-notch quality.
- Season, cook, and monitor the quality of finished dishes.
- Modify recipes to accommodate customer preferences and dietary requirements.
- Oversee cooking operations and kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Order raw materials and select reliable suppliers to maintain stock levels.
- Manage food costs effectively while minimizing wastage.
- Supervise kitchen staff, assign tasks, and provide guidance as needed.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in accordance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment.
- Strong culinary skills and creativity in menu planning and dish preparation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
The Employee will, however, be expected to carry out any other reasonable duties in line with his responsibilities to assist in the smooth operation of the business.
