Electrical Technician (Service Engineer)
Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Up to £32,500 + Overnight Allowances and Stay Away Payments (Paid at quarter day pay bonus) + Fuel Card + Van + Company + Tools + Uniform + PPE + Contributory Pension + Holiday 20 Days + Bank Holidays
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, start and finish times varying (Flexibility required).
Electrical Technician sought within a growing and successful service provider for specialist equipment within the medical industry offering comprehensive training.
The Electrical Technician role will be suited to electrical/electronic engineers preferably from a field service background. You can come from any industry background and must have good basic electrical fault-finding experience and be able to fault find to board level on electronics, full product training will be provided. You will preferably hold a level 3 or equivalent in electrical installations diploma.

The Electrical Technician role:
• Travel to hospitals throughout the UK carrying out specialist maintenance and repair work.
• Mix of mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance work with an emphasis on the electrical/electronic skill requirement. Training will be provided.
• Stay away from home as required on average between 5 and 15 days per month, additional pay and allowances apply.
• A mix between Servicing, Repairs and Installations (Installations will become part of the remit once trained further).
The Successful Electrical Technician:
• You will be a qualified engineer with experience in electrical or electronic fault finding, those with mechanical experience will be at an advantage.
• You can be from any industry background, although from a field service background will be at an advantage.
• You will preferably hold an Electrical edition or equivalent and level 3 or equivalent qualifications in electrical installations.
