Summary


We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our friendly, supportive multidisciplinary team. You will be working alongside our trained nursing and therapy staff assisting them in the day to day care and management of our patients to ensure they receive safe, high quality nursing care on Oak Ward at County Hospital.

An exciting opportunity has become available within County Hospital, Oak ward for a Health Care Support Worker to join the caring and professional nursing team delivering rehabilitation, care of the elderly and general medical care.

We are a friendly team and welcome applications from HCSW’s who possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and who are committed to providing high standards of care for patients, their families and carers within a hospital setting. Ideally the candidate will have excellent computer skills and be enthusiastic about change management and supportive towards their colleagues.

There are lots of opportunities to further develop and you will be supported with training and education. Candidate will have an NVQ level 2 health and social care.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
