Summary

We are currently looking for an experienced Roofer to be a part of our Response Maintenance Business based in Thornaby-on-Tees. We specialise in providing day to day reactive response and maintenance services for our reputable Social Housing clients. We want to hear from likeminded individuals who truly care about improving people’s homes and lives. You will be covering ares in the North East.

The Roofer role:


You will be responsible for undertaking repair/renewal roofing works, including; repairs and maintenance cover roof leaks, felt & batton, gutter leaks, lead work & torch on felt repairs is desirable. Ability to undertake brickwork related repaired desirable
Taking pride in building relationships you will communicate effectively with the scheduler, tenants and line manager
Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety requirements
Complete work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken, via a PDA.


What will you bring as a Roofer?


Qualified to an NVQ Level 2 in Roofing/ trowel related trade, or able to demonstrate the level of skills and experience required to be successful in the role
Current PASMA and IPAF certification is desirable
Ability to work to targets in a fast paced and reactive environment
Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of environments, including vulnerable tenant’s homes within Social Housing settings
Tetra is desirable
Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, with use of a company van.
