Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rotherham to assist with the appointment of an Admissions Officer, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £13.54 - £16.94 per hour

Responsibilities:

Provide technical advice, guidance and support to a service and its customers
Assist with business process re-engineering, process mapping and application of change management techniques
Support the planning of projects and programmes, producing appropriate material to help keep track of progress and identify the need for remedial action at the earliest opportunity
Provide help and assistance to staff in the use of IT packages/systems
Support the development of new systems and procedures and set up and produce non-standard letters/templates/spreadsheets/documentation, update and maintain databases and produce management information
Qualifications:

NQF Level 3 qualification e.g. AS and A levels, NVQs Level 3, Applied A Levels, BTEC First Certificates and Diplomas, City and Guilds Advanced Craft Part 3, or NQF Level 4 Certificates of Higher Education
Or
Evidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience
Knowledge and Experience:

Working in a technical role, including dealing with customers and providing advice
Supervising staff including prioritisation and/or allocation of work
Resolving complex enquiries and communicating resolution
Understanding of project planning and implementation
Experience and knowledge research methods and techniques
Analysing and recording statistical information including preparing data for presentations and reports
Creating and implementing new working methods & systems
Understanding of budget management
Setting up and maintaining filing and storage systems for improvement programmes.
Using a range of computer applications and ICT including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, internet and e-mail
