Then Oliver King Consulting’s new Business Assistant role might be perfect for you!
We’re not your typical recruitment company! We work with local SMEs to understand what’s working well in their recruitment process. Focusing on sustainability we have a regular returning client base that come back due to the quality of service they receive.
We’re also passionate about giving back to the local community with a day a moth of community outreach!
If you join us as an apprentice, you will be studying at the Sheffield College. Learning from experienced, specialised and enthusiastic Tutors, who provide a link between college and your workplace. During your apprenticeship you will gain invaluable first-hand experience of working in the administrative environment and develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours in the business industry.
A typical day will include:
Office based duties such as welcoming visitors, signing people in, setting up office events
Checking emails that have come over the weekend from candidates applying for roles
Helping the marketing assistant with digital posts and coming up with new content ideas
Supporting and leading projects that support the wider business
...and many more ....
Based in the S10 area you could go for picnics in the Botanical Gardens, or down to one of the independent coffee shops at lunch time. There are good public transport links with buses into the city centre.

We’re a small close-knit team of:
2 Recruitment Assistants who joined us as HR Apprentices;
Yolanda – super chatty and loves going out to networking events, she can make friends with anyone! Her spare time is taken up by collecting perfumes and house viewings as she looks to buy her first property.
Amy – loves reading books (she’s currently challenging herself on how many she can read) She is also very friendly and welcoming, getting along with anyone.
1 Apprenticeship Marketing Assistant;
Tyler – likes doing activities with friends over the weekend and enjoys talking about his PC that he built!
1 Founder - currently on a level 7 coaching course.
Sam – has a passion for netball and walking! She encourages each team member to be the best they can be whether it be professional or personal.
