Our Client one of the fasted growing suppliers of Automotive & tyre fitting services are seeking an Assistant Manager for their expanding site in Peterborough.
With over 35 Garages and 20+ years of trading experience, our Client provides a busy working environment with a strong reputation of providing customers with a friendly service, with great choice & quality.
They are seeking an Assistant Manager for their friendly team in Peterborough, and are seeking applications from a variety of skill, an Assistant Manager, Workshop Controller, Workshop Supervisor Service Advisor, Fast-fit Branch Manager or Service Team Leader

Duties of Assistant Manager with our Client:
- Be Responsible for managing your centre
- Co-ordinating the workload
- Deliver the company business objectives
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain centre and health & safety standards.
- Encourage, lead and motivate your team to consistently deliver excellent service.
- Hands on workshop element, must be Level 3 or equivalent.
What our Client expects of their Assistant Manager:
- A confident, experienced and commercially focused manager, with a proven background within the retail and/or automotive industries
- Ability to lead and manage a team within a retail outlet
- Able to demonstrate success at developing and maintaining sales
- Customer focussed and able to encourage the team to deliver consistent customer service
- Experience of maximising sales and turnover, compliance with centre and management standards
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points (you will be subject to licence checks)
- Good time management skills and the ability to manage the work effectively
- Proven ability to lead and coach a team to deliver and complete jobs in a timely manner.
- Maintain centre and health & safety standards
- Lead from the front with regards to our core values, principles and high expectations of presentation standard
- The willingness to constantly learn and improve your own performance
