Summary
Mechanical Inspector wanted!! Due to the nature of this company you must be a UK British Citizen.
Carbon60 are working with a UK defence company who specialise in designing and producing missiles and missile systems on a site based in Stevenage, UK. As an Mechanical Inspector, your role will be to examining the correct assembly of the product and of all finished parts.
This role would be perfect for someone with experience in an inspector role previously as well as Mechanical skill set. This is a long term contract for around 12 months, potential of extension.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Certify the product in line with the product certification procedure
- Examining for correct assembly
- Examining the finish of all parts to detect faulty finishing or painting, deterioration of surfaces etc.
- Inspect for physical damage
- Intermediate inspection checks non product certification
- Monitor product certification operators
Candidate Requirements:
- Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21or HNC
- Several years' experience as a skilled person
- IPC 610 certified / trained preferred.
£19.33 rising to £20.33 PAYE (£24.46 rising to £25.74 Umbrella)
