Summary

Permanent, Part Time (25 hours per week, over 5 days)
Gloucester City Homes (GCH) is an ambitious, dynamic housing association with strong community roots. We are focused on building homes and communities where people can thrive and delivering valued services to our customers.

We’re now seeking a Homeless Team Coordinator to work with our Homeless Team, supporting the coordination of key tasks for the Homeless Services Manager to deliver a well organised and efficient service.

As Homeless Team Coordinator, you will support the Homeless Service Manager to produce high quality business performance reports, including updates on operational, service, and financial delivery of the service. You will collect and collate the KPI information from the Homeless Team Leader to produce meaningful reports and ensure that business systems used within the Homeless Team are smart and meet the needs of the service. You will also coordinate meetings with key stakeholders and provide full meeting support through preparation of agendas, minutes, and action logs. You will pro-actively manage incoming and outgoing post and support the Homeless Team with answering their direct number, taking rent payments over the phone or setting up Direct Debits.

You will work from various offices which would include the office at Serco House in Quedgeley where some of our homeless customers have their homes. We also work from our main office for Gloucester City Homes at Railway House in Gloucester, so being able to commute between offices is required.

We’d like you to…

Have strong administrative skills, with experience of implementing various Microsoft Office systems including Excel and Power point.
Have experience of working flexibly within a team.
Be highly organised with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
Have a good understanding of customer service.
Be empathetic but assertive in your approach when communicating with our customers.
Have a desire to work within a busy but rewarding team.
Closing Date: 3rd May 2024.

GCH reserve the right to bring the closing date forward should enough quality applications be received prior to the current closing date.

GCH is committed to equal opportunities. We actively encourage applications from all sections of our community, particularly those with lived experience of our work.

We celebrate the diverse nature of our customers and colleagues, striving to develop diverse teams where everyone can be their authentic self through an inclusive, family friendly, flexible and fun culture. Our values of pride, quality, integrity and innovation are at the heart of what we do. So if this sounds like you, we’d be delighted to hear from you!
