Summary
At The Fuse Project you will work towards your L2 Community Activator Coach Qualification over the course of 12-18 Months.
Responsibilities:
â— Assess and address the needs of young people, planning and delivering programs on health, fitness, substance abuse, violence, relationships, and bullying.
â— Organise and facilitate various activities including arts based, community/environmental projects, outdoor education, and sports.
â— Provide support to young people in different settings, including outreach work and offsite trips.
â— Mentor and coach individuals to foster social inclusion.
â— Collaborate with professionals from other organisations supporting young people.
â— Engage with parents and community groups to advocate for improved provision.
â— Set up and pack down equipment for sessions.
â— Complete session plans and necessary paperwork.
â— Assist young people with forms and signings.
â— Play games to build relationships and engagement.
â— Provide information and support for young people to realise their goals and work effectively in groups.
â— Address oppressive behaviour and promote respect and confidentiality.
â— Encourage young people to broaden their horizons and be active citizens.
â— Support young people in understanding risk and taking action on key issues in their lives.
