Summary

We are looking for a forward thinking and innovative manager to join our Legal & Democratic Services Team in the role of Democratic Services Manager.

You will be responsible to the Head of Legal & Democratic Services and responsible for the leadership of the staff in Committee Services, the Mayoralty Service and Caretaking/Printing Service. You will be a key contact for the Council’s elected members and co-ordination of Council meetings.

The position requires extensive experience of undertaking complex administrative work and a high level of communication skills both written and oral to work successfully with Council’s elected members and officers.
