Summary

Assheton Arms in Clitheroe are recruiting for an Apprentice Chef. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Catering and Hospitality which will take approximately 16 months to complete.

Duties:
- To assist and monitor food stocks and stock movement.
- To ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
- To learn and record skills and recipes from other members of the department.
- To follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the section and other areas as
directed. To ensure stock is controlled and rotated. Accept and store deliveries
- To arrive punctually for your shift wearing the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance at all times
- To be helpful & accommodating. Fulfil all reasonable requests from guests, to ensure their satisfaction and repeat business
- To be organised so that meals go out on time and the work area remains clean and orderly
- Build and maintain good relationships with all team members & be willing to take on jobs to
- To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediately.
- To comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that all-statutory regulations
are observed.
- To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
- To be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times if required.

Hours:
Rota basis Mon-Sun 5 days Earliest start 10:00am Latest finish 9:00pm / 30 mins lunch / 30-40 hours per week
