Summary


This is an exciting opportunity to lead change and transformation in the Inpatient and stroke services in Barnet.

Working closely with the Head of Service, Clinical Leads and the teams you will identify, manage and lead projects that will improve the patient and staff experiences on our wards.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced project manager, who is confident to work closely with clinicians, reviewing pathways and processes, and implementing and supporting change.

The aim of this role is to drive innovation and change on the wards for improved quality to patient and staff experiences

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the management of a number of projects within the North Central Division Bedded Units. The aim of the role will be to lead successful

implementation of these interdependent transformation and business change projects.

The post holder will be responsible for:
• Managing and leading specific projects which includes developing and managing project/programmes plans, reporting progress and undertaking risk and issue management to ensure effective and timely delivery.
• Managing and contributing to the reporting of progress/under performance of projects and programmes.
• Working directly with operational leads and relevant stakeholders to deliver specified projects.
• Where relevant working with stakeholders outside of the organisation to ensure projects achieve the desired objectives
• Establish appropriate project governance and assurance to ensure project oversight and management is effective.

• Take direct responsibility for the planning, implementation of programme and project deliverables, to time, within budget and to an agreed quality.
• Contribute to transformational change and improvement, taking a lead for identified areas where agreed.
• Provide co-ordination of and participate in relevant internal and external working groups and provide project advice, expertise and support as required.
• Provide relevant and timely updates on own portfolio of projects/functions as required.
• Work with members of the team to investigate the causes of any variance from target/plan and proactively contribute to the implementation of solutions.
• Ensure there is an audit trail for all changes in accordance with the document management process in place.
