Joining our client as a Site Engineer means stepping into a pivotal role ensuring the precise execution of engineering tasks on-site. Directly reporting to the Project Manager, you'll oversee setting out, quality control, and coordination of construction activities, guaranteeing adherence to design specs and project demands. This opportunity places you within a dynamic team driving a prestigious project in Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute accurate setting out and surveying of the construction site utilising total stations and GPS equipment.
  • Interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to effectively guide construction endeavours.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, ensuring seamless progress and timely issue resolution.
  • Enforce quality control protocols to sustain top-notch work standards and compliance with project specifications.
  • Track and report on progress, productivity, and resource allocation to the Project Manager.
  • Aid in resolving on-site technical queries and engineering challenges as they emerge.
  • Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain precise records, reports, and documentation pertinent to engineering activities.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably on high-rise residential or commercial projects.
  • Exhibit proficiency in operating surveying equipment and CAD software.
  • Possess a robust understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and techniques.
  • Have knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
