Multi Skilled Shift Electrical Engineer
Ellesmere Port - Full Time
We are looking to recruit for a Full Time Shift Engineer based at our Ellesmere Port site. You will provide effective maintenance, repair and service of plant, building and equipment. You will be working within a friendly and proactive team, ensuring the smooth and continued running of this fast-running plant. This is a day shift role, but you may be expected to cover shifts if needed.
As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out PPM and completing the appropriate paperwork and reports. You will also be carrying out fault finding, planned maintenance and reactive maintenance for the electrical plant as well as assisting other team members when required or as directed from Supervisor/Contract Manager.
You will also be responsible for completing electrical installations and upgrades on site and you must ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with both company and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate would have recognised a recognised electrical apprenticeship or qualifications (18th edition desirable), experience in HV switching and is able to effectively anticipate, diagnose and repair faults as well as be capable of completing essential paperwork in an accurate and timely manner with a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate would also have knowledge in one or more of mechanical, automation, hydraulic, pneumatic or pressure systems is desirable. The ideal candidate would have a full UK Driving Licence.
