Summary
The post holder will be responsible, with the existing Consultant Neurologists, for neurological inpatients and outpatients at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust and for supervision at HPNC of ESHT patients referred for tertiary investigations and management. The post holder will carry out five to six general Neurology outpatient clinics at ESHT. A further specialist interest clinic can be worked flexibly between ESHT and HPNC as a non-fixed session.
The post holder will participate in the Neurology department’s regular ward referral service. The post holder will contribute towards general professional training of the junior medical staff and contribute to the training of nurses and other staff, and participating in the activities of the Post Graduate Medical Centre including medical audit, both at ESHT and HPNC
