Our client is a market-leading joinery specialist that creates premium bespoke cabinetry, furniture and bespoke kitchens, with their own 15,000 sqft workshop based in Colnbrook, close to Heathrow. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Installations Manager to join their team full time, to plan and manage the onsite installation of our bespoke, high-end joinery projects. This is a crucial role to help them deliver a high-quality service to clients. If you are ambitious, motivated, passionate about design and have a positive working attitude, then this is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing and highly acclaimed joinery outfit. You will report into and work closely with the Operations Manager and between you will oversee all the installations.

You will be the main point of contact with clients on your projects once the designs have been signed off into production. You will supervise and manage the fitting teams on your projects, liaise with clients, designers and contractors, and undertake final surveys pre-manufacture.

Duties will include:

• Undertaking pre-manufacture surveys and ensuring these are 100% correct for production
• Day-to-day supervision of site fitters on your projects (5 in-house fitters and occasional subcontracted teams)
• Ensuring the quality of the install is up to company standards, all work areas are in a clean, managed, safe and tidy manner, and completed works are adequately protected and signed off
• Ensuring the installations are completed within the allocated timeframe
• Building strong relationships with the site management teams, designers, client representatives and interfacing trades to ensure that all works are coordinated to enable a high quality and efficient installation
• Provide effective and clear communication with the production management and design teams
• Ensuring that all installs comply with all current health and safety regulations and contractor’s site-specific policies and procedures
• Managing the snagging/close out process as efficiently and expediently as possible
• Ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standards, resolving quality issues, and always protecting the company’s reputation for excellence

Experience Required:

• High-end joinery fitting and or/ bench joinery background
• Experience of overseeing installations and scheduling
• Experience of surveying
• Excellent communication & people management skills
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to problem-solve
• SMSTS or SSSTS qualified desirable
• Excellent written and spoken English
• A full UK driving licence
• CSCS card
• Commercial awareness and time-management skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently

• Willingness to learn and continually develop skills
