About the role:
NRL are currently recruiting a HSE Manager for one of our leading clients in the Power Generation Industry. Our client has an exciting opportunity for a HSE Manager to join the team on a short term contract to support on a new build Energy from Waste Power Station.

This position can be paid via CIS, PAYE or Umbrella

The contract currently has two stages and we are looking for a candidate who will be available for both:
1st Stage: 27th May – 20th June (heavy lifts)
2nd Stage: 12th August – 30th October (Mechanical completion)

As HSE Manager you would be required to work on site 5 days a week for 10 hour shifts. A lodge allowance can be provided mid-week however must be able to travel home for the weekend.

Duties:
Duties as HSE Manager include the below:

- Regular inspections
- Creation of RAMS
- Administration of work permits
- Investigate and report accidents and near misses
- Manage and provide safety training/inductions
- Inspection of documents i.e. Qualifications, medical certificates, documents of working machines and technician equipment
- Development and delivery of necessary on site observations, toolbox talks etc.
- Attend site management safety meetings


What you need:

- Must hold a NEBOSH or IOSH Level 6 diploma
- Previous experience in a HSE Manager role or similar
- Previous experience in a similar sector i.e. power generation or construction
