A proudly independent small animal vet practice is looking for a Vet to join their friendly team due to expansion. Would you like to spend your days in a quintessential English market town which is renowned for its fine food and drink?
The practice has all the tech, as well as a modern diagnostic suite with digital radiography and ultrasound, a separate dental suite and a spacious prep area leading to a dedicated operating theatre. They have everything you need!
The team are extremely friendly, consisting of 4 vets and very experienced nursing staff and it truly has a lovely atmosphere to work in and something they are passionate about maintaining. None of the team are ego maniacs, they encourage discussion between vets and nurses about their cases, they are all teammates working towards the goal of fixing the patient.
They do their own on-call, as they feel it is very important to be there for their clients when they need them, and the time that is often most important is not always in office hours. Their clients are very understanding that they need a life and a break so the out of hours is not by any means onerous.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced Vet who is happy to help with their support of their new graduate and is keen to pursue a role in an independent practice. There is potential opportunity to become a partner in the future if that is a route you were hoping to pursue.
Role:
- Salary up to £70,000 DOE
- 4 days a week, 8:30am - 6pm (last appointments at 5pm)
- 1 in 5 weeknights
- 1 in 4 weekends
- Part-time applications can be considered
