Summary


An opportunity has arisen for a well-motivated Audiologist to join our friendly Audiology team based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for an experienced Audiologist with managerial experience to support the current line manger and deputise when needed. The successful candidate will assist in the provision of audiology services and department management providing diagnostic support to the ENT department and a comprehensive hospital and community rehabilitation service across West Norfolk.

Covering a number of community clinics across West Norfolk the successful post holders will work both within the team environment at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and autonomously within the community environment.

Applicants must possess a BSc in Audiology or equivalent, and management qualifications is essential.

• Contribute to the operational and strategic planning of the Audiology services at QEH
• Act as deputy to the Head of Audiology and provide operational management cover during periods of absence, including attendance at Divisional meetings
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade as requested by Head of Audiology
• Attend meetings relevant to role to represent Audiology service
• Advise and guide Audiologists, nursing and healthcare staff and other members of the MDT and work in collaboration with facilities, especially ENT, to ensure clinical and quality standards are met.
• Develop robust professional networks internally and externally to enhance service provision.
• Provide strategic advice and direction to Audiology services and represent Audiology Department at specialist service meetings as required
